Corey Politino - CFI, CFI-I, MEI
Originally from West Virginia, my path to Greenville, SC included fifteen different relocations and a 20-year career in the United States Navy. Having an opportunity to serve our country as a Naval Flight Officer, I subsequently earned a vast array of experience in leadership with risk management, instructing, developing, and mentoring diverse aircrews while heading multi-national teams on assignments in North and Central America, Europe, Middle and the Far East areas of operation. Logging over 2,400 hours of flight time during my Naval career that included T-34, T-43, P-3C, EP-3 and NP-3D aircraft.
My general aviation career started in 2008 with my first flight instructing job. Fortunately, I was able to maintain part-time CFI jobs during most of my Naval career. I served as a part-time flight instructor in California, Virginia, Florida, and Hawaii before arriving to South Carolina. I have logged approximately 3,300 hours in general aviation aircraft during my 18 years as a flight instructor. I believe that I have obtained a wide range of instruction experience to include Private, Instrument, Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor, Multi-Engine and Tailwheel for all ages pursuing a career in aviation or for anyone looking for a new hobby. Retiring from Naval service in 2021, I hope to spend another 20 years teaching the next generation of aviators to fly.
