After exploring several career paths in high school, I decided to go with flying when a mentor revealed how much he regretted never doing it. As much as I liked flying for myself, it quickly became apparent my real passion is teaching and sharing it with others. I have worked as a charter pilot and interviewed for the regional airlines, but since those paths got in the way of what I really loved and were a waste of my teaching abilities, I made the decision to pass them up and figure out how to make a career in flight instructing.
