Hey guys! My name is Julia Byron. I grew up in South Florida and earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. After graduation, I taught English oversees for a bit before moving back to Florida and trying out some other career options. At 28, I moved  to North Carolina while trying to figure out what I wanted my next career move to be. On a whim, I booked a discovery flight at Greenville Aviation—and it completely changed my life.

That flight sparked a passion for aviation and inspired me to follow in the footsteps of my dad, who is also a pilot. While earning my Private Pilot License at Greenville Aviation, an opportunity opened up for me to join the team as the Office Manager.

Today, I’m still the Office Manager, but I am also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor–Instrument (CFII). I love helping others experience the excitement and freedom that flying has to offer. Whether you’re just considering a discovery flight or you’re ready to earn your next rating, I’m excited to be part of your journey and help you achieve your aviation goals.
