Hey guys! My name is Julia Byron. I grew up in South Florida and earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. After graduation, I taught English oversees for a bit before moving back to Florida and trying out some other career options. At 28, I moved to North Carolina and found myself taking a discovery flight at Greenville Aviation a couple of months later. That discovery flight completely changed the course of my career.

The discovery flight sparked a passion for aviation and inspired me to follow in the footsteps of my dad, who was a Navy pilot and Captain for American Airlines. While earning my Private Pilot License at Greenville Aviation, an opportunity opened up for me to join the team as the Office Manager.

Today, I’m still the Office Manager, but I am also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor–Instrument (CFII). I love helping others experience the excitement and freedom that flying has to offer. Whether you’re just considering a discovery flight or you’re ready to earn your next rating, I’m excited to be part of your journey and help you achieve your aviation goals.
