Wes CAto - cfi, CFII

Wes Cato first discovered his passion for aviation while job shadowing airport operations at his local airport in Sandersville, GA during his senior year of high school. Shortly after graduating, he began flight training and earned his Private Pilot Certificate. He later joined the Air National Guard, where he worked on C-130 Hercules aircraft.

During his time in service, Wes earned an engineering degree and went on to work as a power engineer for 10 years in Chattanooga, TN. Ultimately, his passion for aviation led him back to the cockpit, where he pursued his flight instructor ratings and began a new career in aviation.

Wes moved to Greenville in the summer of 2025 with his fiancée, Ashley. Outside of flying, he enjoys exploring the local area and everything the Carolinas have to offer. As an instructor, Wes is committed to helping students build confidence while making flight training both safe and enjoyable.
